Social media platform Snapchat has teamed up with audio streaming service Spotify to bring the Gateway of India to reality utilizing augmented reality (AR). The initiation went live on October 14 and will be accessible till October 24.
The feature utilizes Snapchat’s Landmarker innovation that empowers AR experiences to change landmarks in real-time. It is the first supported Landmarker in Asia. For Spotify, it is another approach to make music progressively pervasive and convey innovative sound understanding.
To empower the feature, when Snapchatters are near Gateway of India, they will be incited to discover the symbol of the landmark. Spotify’s supported lens will be the first placement in Snapchat’s lens carousel, and as Snapchatters point their telephone’s camera at the Gateway of India, they will have the option to see the landmark wake up.
